I'm so sorry that people (inculding me) have no more imagination to took the Eiffel tower on picture.
But I think that there is more than one person per second who took a photo from "les quais de Seine". It's mathematical, We should be more than 2 to upload a photo like this with a nearly frame on DA.

The thing is that the company who installed the lighting on the eiffel tower placed a copyright on it, but only when the tower is photographed at night time. there was a recent ruling by the French justice systems saying that the copyright issue is nonsense if the tower forms part of a wider shot, ie with something else in it. However some countries like Ireland won't recognise the companies copyright as it is a public structure. Look up the Eiffel Tower on Wikipedia there is a section on the copyright nonsense. Obviously this is what DA is pulling the image for.

Thanks a lot for the information !
I've contacted the Société Nouvelle de la Tour EIFFEL, to have more iinformation because I'm not a pro and I will not make a commercial utilisation of this photo.

That's pretty bogus if DA yanked your image because of this copyright nonsense... In my opinion, the Eiffel Tower is a world landmark, and is ludicrous to try and copyright it's image from the general public. I support you and wish you the best of luck with this issue.
